What do you eat or drink to help you feel better faster when you're sick?

I'm loading up on orange juice, tea and veggies. I feel like crap.

  • Do you have any Ginger? It can be crushed, ground or powder.... Mix that with some hot water and drink it like tea. Ginger is supposed to speed the duration of a cold. Other than that, the old stand by Chicken Noodle Soup for me.

  • If it's stomache ginger ale. Sinus means steamy tea and clear soups. Overall sick means sleep and water, if I get hungry usually crackers and soup. My favorite medication is TheraFlu, but it knocks me out. For energy, Ester-C gives a boost, but usually sleep is best.

  • Hmmm, I've been drinking tea (like Echinacea that has some vitamins and zinc in it, and mint), but I think I have ginger tea in the cabinet, too. I might start sipping on that in a few. I didn't even think of it.

  • Water, orange juice, chicken vegetable soup-no rice or noodles in it, popscicles. Hope you feel better soon.

  • I drink Ginger Ale and teas of different types. I eat alot of soup and toast as well and maybe some fruit like oranges
