How long is a bottle of red wine good for after being opened?

i opened it last week. its the first bottle i've ever bought. i'm used to buying white and drinking it in one to two nights..because i know it will lose its fizz. so is this still gonna be okay to drink?

  • Keep it refrigerated & it will be good for about 2 weeks. Make sure it stays corked. After that, it may get vinegary.

  • If you get one of those vacuum pump things(rubbery replacement cork and hand pump-ususally they have them at the liquor store) then it will last a LONG time. But just recapping and refrigerating it will keep it good for a week or 2.

  • If it is still corked it should be OK. just try it and see if it still tastes good.
