  • Alfredo. . . Love it and it is easy

    1cup of heavy cream
    1/4 cup real butter
    2/3 cup parm. Cheese

Melt butter, add cream, bring to boil and simmer for 5 min or till thick & bubbly, add parm cheese, remove from heat. Cook pasta (chicken, peas, mushrooms, or whatever else you want to add). Warm sause up Mix in pasta (and any toppings) & serve. Takes maybe 30 minutes.

  • When we have days that we are sick of the same meals we do creative food contests. One night we did sub night. I went out and got all kinds of sub meats and toppings and whoever made the best sub won a prize. (Just something from the dollar store or maybe an extra couple of dollars at allowance time or a pass for no chores for a day) It was easy and fun for the family. I also sift through for recipes. I love crock pot classics as well. They have them in chicken noodle and beef pot roast.

  • Mini meatloves done in muffin pans...always a hit with my husband. Vegetable pancakes...a hit with people when we entertain...its more of an appetizer, i guess. Beef stir-fry, done atop rice.
