  At my baby shower, they basically just made finger foods (it was an afternoon party) like little sandwiches, fruit and dip, chips and different dips, etc. We really didn't decorate tho.

  we had a down home country theme. we had bbq catered- hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, etc. we had little vases of wild flowers on each table. and each table had mismatched vintage table cloths. we also hung a few lines of baby dresses under the patio (it was an outdoor party)

  i had 2 suprize baby showers and they knew i was having a girl so it was all pink and they had ballons all over and finger foods and little sandwiches...
