How much does a wedding photographer charge in your area?

  • We got one for $500 and we got to keep all the negatives (he took 500 pictures). They weren't super-professional, but we just wanted some good pictures to remind us of the day. We didn't need anything with fancy touch-ups or special lighting.

  • We got married in 2006 and the one we used had different packages. We got the Silver package and it included before the wedding, wedding and reception photos, hard copies & released photos on CD. I think he charged $650? I didnt pay for it so I am not 100%. I know his gold package was $900.;

  • Depends on the season and how good your photographer is. We had an amazing photographer, and it was the off-season. We paid $1800 I believe, 3 years ago, and that included a print credit. We're in the San Francisco area.

  • It depends, mine charged $300 but when looking around, I saw one's that charged around $2500

  • For my wedding in NC in 2008, it was $650 for 5 hours, plus I got a CD with all of the original and enhanced images.
