I got some nice potted flowers! Now... help?

Lowe's was delivering potted plants door to door today, because they're opening a new store just north of where I live next week. I guess it's kind of a promotion thing - Lowe's is quite new where I am (this is only the third store out here in Western Canada). I've been thinking about trying my hand and potted plants (since I live in an apartment) this year, so this is pretty awesome!

So I have two questions.

First, can anyone identify my flowers? I have no idea what they are. I'll add a photo later, but right now I'll just have to describe them. The one that's bloomed already has sort of greenish-yellowish petals - a lot of them, like a sunflower, but they're pink towards the middle. The ones that haven't bloomed yet are quite green. Does this sound familiar to anyone so far?

Second, how do I care for them? How often do I have to water? Should I open the blinds so they can get some of what little sun we have here (winter came back overnight)? I am so new to this it's sad! And I'm determined to keep these little guys alive as long as I can! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
