Do you ever get the sense that some CafeMom members just think they're above and beyond everyone else?

I get that sense sometimes. Some seem a tad arrogant! I've seen it in just about every section here now. There's a difference in giving your opinions or thoughts on an issue, and snubbing others.

    EXACTLY, lol!

It's like, "Oh, you're so cool. You sit on Cafemom with your little group of friends and talk down to everyone who disagrees with you. You're so big and bad and smart. Don't mind all of us other moms who have a life and opinions outside of the Cafemom debates.", lol.

  • I can't help but feel this is about a certain post. I can't stand it when people think they are better than everyone else because of the choices they make. Everyone has their own opinions and they are entitled to them, but isn't this site supposed to be about supporting other moms?? I thought so.

  • Oh, absolutely. I just sit back and laugh because I know they're wrong for thinking that way. I can't stand women sometimes, for that reason. There are just too many bitches. :)

Answer by LovingSAHMommy at 11:58 PM on Apr. 2, 2011

  • Oh yeah, but it doesn't bother me too much because karma's a bigger bitch than they are lol.

  • Everyone has their right to their own opinions, but sometimes there are some people that go far and beyond what the question is asking. I usually ignore these posts. I don't want to cause any trouble on here.

  • Oh yeah. I can think of a few women right off the top of my head that are ALWAYS like this. They brag about what they have, that all their choices have been perfect, etc.

Heck, I asked a question about being disappointed by a movie, and someone said "Well, I'm never disappointed, because I always check imdb and NEVER watch anything with a rating below 7", or some junk like that. I thought about asking her if she'd like a cookie.
