Milk

I am really weird about drinking milk on the day it says it expired. Is it still ok to drink on the expiration date? I'm worried will will taste horrible or something lol it's kinda un logical but still I can't help but wonder lol. I am craving milk so bad right now and mine expired yesterday, should it be ok?

  • Smell it and find out. I think you should be okay though.

  • smell it. . .does it smell ok. . . ??? just FYI. . . it is human nature to be lactose intolerant. . .it was only in more modern times that people started drinking milk as a staple during food shortages and famine. . .

  • I think it will be OK. I have had milk several days past the date and it was fine. The date is more of a sell by date and the milk stays good for awhile longer.

  • Usually milk is still good for a few days past the expiration date. And it's not an expiration date, it's a "sell by" date, the final date the milk should be sold. It allows for storage time at home. But give it a smell, if it smells funny, toss it.
