Fish tank help

just was checkiung my tank last night and found a prob with the water so did a quoter change
checked it today same prob so did another quoter water change any so thought i find out what caused the problem
mt dip stuck says my
no3 is 250 per mg ( change water is next to it )
no2 is 10 per mg ( chnage water is next to it )
gh is 8 per mg ( ok is next to it )
kd 10 per mg ( says ok next to it )
ph is 6.8 per mg
cl2 is 0.8 per mg
i live in scotland we have soft woter

  • Have you vacuumed the gravel lately? A 1/4 or even 1/2 tank change isnt going to matter if the bottom of the tank or rocks are fouled. Soft water shouldnt make a difference. Im betting the gravel and or filter's need to be cleaned.

  • Umm not much help with fishtanks, I always found mine floating belly up or my cat got hungry and wanted a snack. Maybe google it and see if u find what u need. U live in Scotland?? I would love to hear your accent!! lol Sorry, I really love listening to that accent. I had a b/f who was from Scotland and I could of listened to him talk allll day!

  • whew good luck honey fish tanks are hard work but i would call an aquarium they would probly be able to help.
