How long does it take bananas to fully grow on a banana tree?

I have banana trees. I planted them about 2 years ago. I know a little but about them, but not too much. They are about 6 ft tall. One has sprouted bananas. I noticed the purple bulb thing came out about a week and a half ago and it now has sprouted about 30 bananas. They are still small and green. My question is, does anyone know how long on average it takes them to fully grow?

  • It depends on MANY factors. The climate, how much sun and water they get and of course the variety of banana tree you have. You can google for "how to care for banana tree" and get lots of info.
