Mommy can I?

Okay so the other day me and my daughter were in car and she just comes out the blue and says "Mommy when you die can I have your car? What the mess is that? It's been afew days and I still don't know how to answer the question. Or should I just not respond?

  • LOL... my kids have done that. I would have said "Yes, by then it will be a classic... because I dont plan on dying for a LONG time... guess your stuck with me!!!"

  • Just ignore it. Im sure the kid didnt mean anything by it. Kid's often have no clue of the concept of the passage of time, or how long life really is.

  • LOL. My 8yo daughter told my dad when he died she was getting his room. She was 6 or 7 at the time. It was hilarious. My dad was like, "man, you've already got me half in the grave." The kids then argued over who got his room if he died and who got his TV.
