Microwave

any suggestions on the easiest way to clean it?

I've heard of the lemon in the water but that really doesn't seem to work.

I think this is the MOST dreaded chore to do.

  • Wipe stuff up the instant it spills/splatters! If that's too tough (guilty, my microwave gets filthy), microwave a soapy damp sponge for 2 minutes. It'll wipe right out, no matter how bad it is!

  • Yes, heat a bowl of water and it makes it steamy in tehre and then wipes clean really easily. If you need to get harder things off, use a bit of baking powder on a sponge.

  • I agree w/ heat up a cup of water in it first to create steam & loosen the food off of it. Then wipe w/ vinegar & water
