Why does breastmilk that was frozen taste nasty, and not like freash breastmilk?

  • It's also possible you have excess lipase, a naturally occuring enzyme that can change the taste of frozen milk. Moms with this issue need to scaled their milk before cooling it.

  • Thank you...Would you hppen to know the instructions...But he doesn't mind the taste, so should I still scald it?

  • To scald milk heat it until it forms bubbles then remove it from heat, cool and freeze
