  • Besides the eye drops, a warm wash cloth to clean the eyes help. Then a cool wash cloth for his forehead to help bring down his fever. Poor little guy. Hope he gets well soon! :)

  • Pink eye can unfortunately only go away with antibiotics. Ask your doctor to prescribe something for your little one. Hope everything works out and I hope he feels better soon!

  • Viral pinkeye is very serious. If you haven't already gotten the pediatrician on board, please do. It needs to be monitored, and your baby may need treatment from the opthamologist. Occasionally, when it gets really bad, it can actually damage the eye, and cornea transplants may be needed. This doesn't happen very often, but the baby needs to be watched closely.

It can also last alot longer than the bacterial pink-eye, unfortunately.

If you haven't spoken to the pediatrician yet, please page him/her today and get some advise and guidelines.

  • Yes take him to the doctor, they give you a medicated eye drop and it clears it up very fast. BOTH my kids had pink eye last week and with those drops the eye started to clear up within a couple days
