  • No but I have learned to watch for sleepy birds, Birds that look "puffy" and too long nails on birds. Those all mean they are sick.

  • LOL um is there a story behind all of this or was it simply you bought a parrot that was alive then by the time you got home from the car ride it was just dead? Very strange but no I have never had to return any animal (dont even think I've gotten one from a pet store ever anyway!). Sorry that this happened to you!

  • Yes,after a night of being tired and shagged out I bought one, while I was pining for the fjords, but sadly, I was deceased and nailed to it's perch. So I tried to exchange it but the owner sent me to his brother's shop in Bolton, who lied and said it wasn't Bolton, it was Ipswich, after a bit of a run around he said it was a palindrome....the palindrome of Bolton would be Notlob not Ipswich.
On second thought...that may've been John Cleese not me....

It's from the Monty Python sketch: Dead Parrot - their most famous and highly requested one ever. (And that's saying something!)
