Are there any foods that you refuse to let your kids eat?

  • Brains, tongue, testicles, penis, pickled pig feet...anything you probably have to special order from the butcher...those quickly come to mind.

    And although we don't refuse to let her eat it, DH and I do not like seafood, so DD's only experience with that are fish sticks.

  • pop and sweets. we let her have sweets in moderation but never anything big and not all the time. oh, and no fast food.

  • There's nothing on that list. There are, though, plenty of things that go in the moderation of severe moderation category which includes fast food, candy, pop. Alot of things are only for special or rare ocassions.

    As far as strange things, we're all for it. Variety is the spice of life baby! LO is also a wonderfully well rounded eater I think in part because of it.
