Favorite generic brand diapers....

Moms tell us your favorite store brand diapers! Feel free to name more than one brand and tell us if you've tried any brands that you had a bad experience with. I know most of us can't always afford the luxury of buying Pampers and Huggies all the time so whoever has tested out any of the cheaper brands and found them to work really good for the cost please share! My favorites are Parent's Choice brand from Walmart and CVS brand for overnight diapers (my son pees through regular diapers at night). I haven't tried any brands yet that I had a particularly bad experience with but those 2 are my favs. Also, tell us whether you have boys or girls since they tend to pee differently. Sometimes diapers that work great for a baby girl won't work as well for a baby boy.

  • I liked Target's brand. Walmart's not so much. Mostly we use Luvs.

  • We LOVED the Costco ones, Kirkland Signature. They're the same as Huggies, but MUCH cheaper!

  • I've tried a lot of different generic brands. I loved Costco's brand and Sam's Club brand. Walmart was okay, but as DS1 got older, they didn't work as well. Navy Exchange brand sucks! We put the diaper on him, he peed and it immediately leaked. Oh, and I only have boys.

  • I have three boys and I only get the Walmart brand Parent's Choice unless they're sold out of the size they need. But I've tried the Winn Dixie brand Kuddles which is also good but I think that the sizes run slightly smaller. And Luvs is also good but doesn't seem to be as good as Parent's Choice at least not for my boys. But I will never ever get Huggies ever again. It might be fine for other people but my boys almost literally pee through them and they actually fall apart while on them. Maybe my boys are too active to wear Huggies but for my boys they suck!

  • we live in texas so we get the HEB brands. they are very similar to huggies now and worked great for my ds. the size 4 diapers can be bought in an 82 pack for around $16, if i remember right, but its been almost a year since we had to buy diapers

  • kimsmith22: one of my friends could only use Pampers, I think, with her son because every other brand have him severe diaper rash. She just learned to save in other areas.
