  • Tomaotes are really easy and you can get a lot from just 1 plant.

  • Cucumbers and green beans grow fast produce allot and dont need things added to the soil like tomatoes do. Peppers are easy as well.

  • Potatoes are easy, So are any fruit that is on a bush like blueberries, raspberries, . Corn, peas,cabbage,brussel sprouts.

  • I find pretty much anything fairly easy. Fast - radishes, lettuces, green beans...I know once we put seeds in the ground I get impatient so it seems like everything takes a long time! Potatoes, carrots, those are season-long growers - unless you want them "baby size" you don't dig them up til late - we usually do them after the first frost. Green beans - bush are easier than pole. Snow/sugar snap peas - easy, but you have to make sure they have a trellis or fence or something to grow up, and they're fairly fast. Cucumbers, summer squash, easy & fairly quick growers...eggplant, peppers, tomatoes...

  • Just remember to protect your plants from the animals. It would be no fun after all that work and some deer comes along and has a feast with them. =[
