  • Tide, either liquid or powder. My children are adults, but I've always used Tide W/Bleach powder, especially on whites, and still do. I buy Tide liquid during the warmer weather when my grandchildren and other members of my family are more prone to "gettng dirty" outside. Otherwise, I buy other name brands in liquid form that are on sale and I can use a coupon with as well. Butthis is always inconjuction w/Tide W/Bleach in powder form.

  • Original Gain. I will go with a cheaper laundry soap sometimes, but I always have to have Gain fabric softener.

  • I gotta say Gain Original as well. I agree with Mom23girlz I will sometimes cheapen out on soap but always buy the fabric sheets or softener !!

  • I make my own laundry detergent. One batch lasts 6-8 months and costs roughly $3-$3.25 to make. No chemicals, no dyes
