My baby seems to have a lot of mucous/phlem...

Doctor says he has no infection and can't have allergies this young. He is 7 weeks and EBF. Every morning and sometimes throughout the day he has a really bad stuffy nose or a lot of phlem/mucous in his mouth that he chokes and gags on and makes him throw up a little sometimes. I'm using saline drops and bulb suction and run a humidifyer at night. Any other suggestions?

  • At only 7 weeks a baby will seem "goopy" and may sneeze a lot. This is normal, a way to get rid of amniotic fluid.
