Does anyone have a simple but tasty Cake recipe?

I'm going to use it for a bday cake.

  • Jello cake.
    Take a box cake, cook it according to the directions. Then heat up you favorite jello mix. poke a few holes in the top of the cake (make sure it has cooled) don't poke the holes all the way to the bottom. Then pour the jello over the cake. Refrigerate over night. Top with cool whip. The cool whip can be colored to fit your theme. Also you can use fruit to decorate the top. Like if your theme was dinosaurs. You could make a dino shape on top with blueberries.

  • Cant get much more simple than a box of Duncan Hinze Cake mix. To make your own cake you need cake flour or the cake wont turn out correctly. There's always the option of buying the cake already done. Thats even easier.
