How old was your baby when they finally slept through the night?

My son is almost 6 months old and he still wakes up about every 2 to 3 hours to eat about 4 ounces, I feel like I will never get a full nights sleep, so how long did it take your baby to sleep all night ?

  • I read an article that said you should let your baby practice falling asleep on their own (as in not rocking them or nursing them to sleep) when you notice they are tired and this will help them learn to sleep through the night. I have been trying to let my daughter do that and twice in the last 10 days she has slept for 8 hours. She is 5 months old. Hope this helps!

  • Around 6 months. Once he started eating solids, he slept better. Try uping the ounces.

  • My son can sleep thru when he's 3 and half months. Maybe try to feed hima little more at night will help. He does wake up, once or twice but he's able to use his fingers and sooth himself back to sleep
