When did you start going grey?

I'm 25.
I have 4 or 5 grey hairs.
I thought the first one was a fluke and I yanked it out lol but it just grew back and brought friends.
When did you notice your first grey hair? And how long did it take for them to take over?!

  • I started noticing my first random grays in my mid or late 20's. I'm 34 now, and they still haven't taken over. In fact, I don't get many more than I did when I first found them. So just because you've spotted your first ones doesn't mean you'll be silver before 30 :-)

  • I was grey at 6 y.o had a huge strip of white on top of my head. by the time I was 16 I was 1/2 grey. Now at 44 Im 90% grey but I color my hair. All the women on my Mom's side went grey early. It sucks to have to color but it beats me looking 70. When with my hair colored most folks think I look 33

  • I was prob. in my mid. 20's, but mine are white not gray, and since my hair is dark they show up really well!! Every week I find a few more. Sigh. My great grandma was 101 when she died and only had a handfull of gray in front, and had never dyed her hair!! She was sooo lucky as is dancer!! I'm dreading the day that the white hair takes over!!! blah.

  • A few gray hairs during my 40/50's, many many more now that I'm 60+. I proudly wear them all with honor.
