  • Yep. There is someone at my work that is constantly talking about her baby. I just want to throw something at her. Thank goodness for my IPOD.

  • Oh yes, it is so bad that I try to ignore them. Nod and smile! If they hang around then I try to respond positively and yet with very little being said, letting them know that they are not alone, or that they will be fine, or that they can handle it. Or when the complaining is over the edge and driving me crazy I will ask them 'and what are you going to do about it' or 'and did you tell her how you feel/felt?' 'and 'did you reply/answer him back?' I work in an extremely poisoned environment and that garbage can be very stressful. Then make sure they don't get you in a funk-think of something funny, positive, listen to music, step outside, go to the washroom. GL.

  • Everyday. Same person same exact complaints about the same people. She's been her for 15 years. You'd think she would have figured it out by now that her complaining is not going to change a thing. She either has to accept it or find another job.
