How much pizza should I order for 50-60 teenage girls?

I'm hosting a First Aid/CPR day for the older Girl Scouts in our area and need to feed them lunch. I'll also have fruit, soda/water, and cookies.

Thanks!

  • I'd go say 2 pieces per girl and impose a no 2nds rule until everyone has had their two slices. 50-60 girls I'd round out to 55 girls and assuming traditional 8 slices per pie I'd get like ... uhh... the opinion of the pizza shop. LOL.

Usually they can do special ENORMOUS catering size pizzas on request

  • i'd say each girl might eat about 2 slices and there are 8 slices on a large pizza. so one large pizza wold feed four girls, and 15 large pizzas would feed 60.

  • I would say 17-20 pizza's depending on how many slices there are in a large pie,,,you can always take some back home, but on a hungry day 3 people can eat a large pizza, so after you know exactly how many,,, go from there, or you could lessen the pizza and go with some breadsticks as well,,,, happy party!

  • SInce they are teenagers, I would assign 1 pizza to each 3 .. . .soooo 20 or more large pizzas.

If you want to keep costs down, make them all cheese . . . everyone will eat them.
