1 Bump

My periods are going to be non-existant soon..?

Why would my periods be getting lighter & lighter each cycle? I'm down to needing 1-2 pad my entire period as opposed to the 7-8 I'd normally need. I also no longer have cramps or anything. My PMS symptoms seem to carry over so I constantly have sore breasts, hunger, cravings, nausea etc. This has been going on a few months now..

I'm not on BC or anything. No STDs, no infections, nothing. I'm sexually active but I highly doubt pregnancy since ALL my tests have been negative although I didn't take one this last cycle. I wouldn't mind not having a period but this is just scary for me.

  • Umm you really should get into the OBGYN for a check up and tell the Dr what's going on. Im not trying to scar you but some cancer's of the reproductive organs have symptoms like this as well as Endometriosis and cysts and growths. Please see the Dr. Most women wouldn't complain about this with their periods. Lighter is better to most women.

  • Lighter would be better but it's just not NORMAL for me. Anything outside of normal is a worry for me. Thank you.

  • Could you possibly be approaching Menopause? Look over this and see if it fits you.

  • have you had any life changes? new dh, bf? new job, loss of job, new home etc.
emotional stress can cause these kind of changes.
physical stress can too. have you gained or lost any weight?
    has your diet changed?

  • The only two things that come to mind is you may need to go to the doctor and make sure you're not pregnant and find out what's really going on or I'm wondering if you've been exercising a lot.

  • There hasn't been much difference in my life. I don't exercize anymore than I would normally, no new partner, no new nothing really. Everything has been at a consistent pace which is why I'm confused. I'll just make an appointment. Thank you ladies!
