  • To get rid of a cold or flu get lots of sleep/rest, drink lots of water, take L-Lysine, Echinacea, Zinc lozenges, Vitamins A, B complex, and C, Garlic, and Acidophilus. If the pain is from the flu it will lessen and go away, usually within a few days, after taking these.

  • Alternate acetaminophen (tylenol) & ibuprofen (motrin, advil), every 4 hours - take a dose of one, then 4 hours later take a dose of the other. 4 hours later, take a dose of the first one, 4 hours later a dose of the other. Lots of rest, hydration, and time.

  • Near your ribs? Have you been to a doctor? That can be more serious than just flu.
