At what point does the DH stop playing with games?

Isn't he supposed to be done with legos and such at some point? I mean its not like its his job er anything. He will literally sit there and build a plane and whoosh is around. Is the equivalent to doing a puzzle er something?
I'm just asking cuz' DD has encountered little boys who play with legos and she says, hey my daddy plays with those too! (Insert awkward silence)

  • I don't see the problem in playing with Leggos as an adult. Just as there's nothing wrong with playing with watching kid's programming. I never understood the peramiters set by society as to what is and isn't appropriate as an adult. Just as what is and isn't appropriate as a specific gender. Like Women must shave yet men don't have to. Only girls can play with dolls and boys can't. Like who's to say and why is it soo enforced in society? Makes absolutely no sense to me .. Do as you please, there's no limit to these things.

  • I'm 41 and I still play with toys. You have to let the inner kid out or you become stiff and stodgy and basically no fun. There is nothing wrong with playing with toys.

  • I don't think there is anything wrong with that. My husband is 24 and plays lego's with our dd. I'd rather have a husband who likes to have fun then a husband who is constantly serious 24/7.

  • And there's something wrong with it? :D

  • Yea. he plays with sabers too. I'm not too serious myself. But it just recently got embrassing for me at my job when DD bursted that out. I coach at a local gym so she was with me when this occurred and have been building my rep here and then she said that. We had to have a whole convo about him playing with Legos. It was a bit embrassing.
