Sanctimommy and ASSuME

Do you find them overused? Do you think they are thrown around whenobody has an argument ? Or just really pathetic low blows?

  • Overused and used when the person can no longer argue. Usually when one complains they use the term rather than discuss the issue any further they are proving they can no longer argue. Shows the debate talents of one who uses the term. Name calling and belittling are not characters I enjoy in a debater. When I see them used I know they can not debate as well as they think.

  • Over-used, lol.

  • I think people use it when they can't come up with a valid point, so they result to names and accusations.

  • LOL I've actually never seen anyone use the word Sanctimommy before...that's funny

  • I've never heard any of these, I'm out of the loop! Can someone explain what they mean? Lol

  • I haven't seen too much of Sanctimommy, but ASSuME is overused and very lame. I always get the feeling that someone thinks they're being really clever. "BWAHAHAHA, ass out of you and me! *Giggle* I'm so funny."

  • I think their a quick way to make the point without wasting a lot of long words on someone who obviously won't understand them. If it bothers you when someone directs them towards you, perhaps you should ask them why instead of hiding behind anon.

  • They have never been aimed at me. General observation.
