How to help a 16 mo with upset tummy?

My son has been having very loose movements for the last few days. He seems fine otherwise (sleeping, eating playing) He seems perfectly normal but he's got a sour belly. My doctor had surgery and is not taking calls only refering out to another office and they wont talk to me until they see him.. I dont think it warrants a doctor visit but even still they cant see him until friday. So I wanna try to help him out now, Any ideas? I have been giving him some pedialyte just in case of dehydration and stopped giving him some foods i thought could be causeing it but I have been unsuccessful so far. Any ideas will help immensly... thanks ladys :)
