What weight would look best at 5ft 6 & 1/2 in.?

I am trying to figure out what my goal weight should be. The smallest I have ever been as an adult is 138. I think I would like to make my goal around 125. What do you think would look the best for my height?

  • I'd say around 130, but it really all depends upon the person's build and how much of it muscle or fat. People also carry weight differently.

  • Personally, it's all about your body.
    I'm 5'6, and 140 lbs looks good on me. I went down to 130 once...and looked almost sick. My rib cage is big.

    And I gain and lose in my hips. Some women gain in their booty.

  • well I am that height right now and am about 140 - I wear a size 6 but I am most comfortable about 135. 125 is way too thin for that height in my personal opinion. somewhere between 130 and 140 is probably right on target.

  • I am also really top heavy, although I do plan to get a breast reduction once I get to my goal. I have always needed one and that will be like a reward to me!

  • It's hard to say without knowing your body type. What might look good for some might not for others depending on how they carry weight. healthy weight range is 123 - 154.
    I'm 5'5. My original goal weight was 140...now that I'm 5lbs away from that goal I know I'll look better closer to 130.
