Beer can chicken?

What kind of beer do you use, Do you test taste a few first(lol)?

  • I also have this.  It's fabulous!  The spikes are to place potatoes on and I put carrots and onions in the pan.

    Where did you get that info? There are no nuts in Bud; there are rice hulls. I'm a home brewer.

    We like to use our own brew. We will buy a tall boy for the can and dump out the crap inside. I like an amber the best; it gives a rich malty sweet flavor.

  • While waay better than miller (ick!), stouts can leave a bitter and tannic aftertaste. (Tannins are the stuff in red wine that give you pucker)

  • I had our bff's beer in our fridge ( miller lite) so i tasted 2 then decided to use one can and pour in a stout lol

  • Any beer will work, but I like to use Amber bock beer from Michelobe. It comes out with a great taste.
