Jobs & moving?

If your husband was offered a job in another state making double what he makes now, but you had to sell your home in order to take it would you do it?

  • In a heart beat. We've already done this 3 times, and I LOVE it! sucks to move away from friends, but you make new ones, and sometimes get an even better home.

  • We have done that before, and it was the right choice. Now, I'm not so sure. We've lost $100,000 on the value of our house and it would be stupid for us to sell. I would definitely consider renting it out though, if the move was to some place where we really wanted to be. If it was back to the Midwest, I'm sorry but you couldn't pay me enough to move back there.

  • It depends what the job is. If it means he would never be home, no. If it's in a boring place, no. If everything was good, schools, city, etc. then maybe. Money is not everything...
