Are there any natural remedies for hayfever?

I'm having a right time of it and it's not even summer yet!

  • Have you considered bee pollen? Make sure you get local stuff, but it really helps you get used to the pollen in your area. I have had no allergy issues yet this season with it.

  • As a serious sufferer of hay fever, I found that the two best natural ways to deal with it were in the vein of desensitization- if you can find a distributor of honey there locally, the honey is made from the local pollen harvested by bees and is more targeted at what you may be suffering from in your area. Don't bother with store bought honey, you wont get the same results unfortunately. The other is to go to your local homeopathic shop and look in the allergy section- they sell allergen drops, they come in a small bottle and are made of the individual pollen sources you may be allergic to (ragweed, etc). Of course you need to know what things you are allergic to- and for that you need to go to the Dr and have a scratch test done
