  • Important question here..can he refrigerate his bag lunch? If not you might want to avoid the tuna and chicken salad sandwich types. Made poor hubby sick with that mistake once. Same with yogurt. give him a treat though whatever you give him with a little love note tucked away inside to let him know your thinking of him!

  • Chicken Salad Wraps:

1-1/4 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained and flaked
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons fresh salsa
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 (10 inch) flour tortillas
    8 lettuce leaves

1.In a small bowl combine the chicken, onion, mayonnaise, salsa, salt and pepper. Mix together.
2.Line each tortilla with two lettuce leaves, then divide chicken salad mixture evenly among each tortilla and roll up, or 'wrap'.

  • Little microwave dinners! You can get them anywhere and some of them taste great ... particularly anything with pasta! I used to eat them A LOT at my old job.

  • I will get the hoagie type buns and then several different lunch meats for my husband. I will put everything in his lunch to make a sub sandwich. He does not like cheese sitting on his bread all day so I do not make it ahead of time. I also put a little Italian dressing in there because he likes to add that to his subs. He can take that a couple times a week.
