Something you can eat that won't make a sore throat worse

i have a sore throat but it's not severe enough for any cough medication cause it doesn't have that nasty cough...i mean i have used a cough drop or two today but i am looking for maybe a soup or something that won't make it worse because i hate being sick

  • Okay, you are going to think I'm koo koo! When my throat hurts, I eat spicy wonton soup, or hot and sour soup. I think the chilis may have an antibotic property or something, and my nose opens up too!

  • Pudding or icecream or jello. Those are my favorites when I have a sore throat.

  • I always reach for a nice bowl of ice cream, it's cold soothes the throat and it goes down soft. Being sick is always an excuse for a bowl of ice cream!

  • I tried eating cold/frozen stuff; popsicles, ice cream, ice chips in hopes of numbing my throat. Everything else was just painful. Hope you feel better soon.
