  • Brisket? That's always yummy! My favorite part of my family's easter potluck is the watermelon. we carve a watermelon into a basket shape and make fruit salad in it. It's the best spring food ever IMO!

  • You can make pretty much anything into a special meal by going to the trouble of making a nice sidesalad, dips, warm bread sticks, cocktail onions on toothpicks, etc, and put a nice tablecloth / centrepiece / seasonal decoration out. Make fruit punch with or without alcohol. Add a big vase of flowers. Party hats and bon bons, depending on the festivity. And serve a nice dessert after.

  • Standing rib roast. Yum! DH made one a few years ago and we are planning to make one (along with our traditional ham) this year too.
