My husband has foot rot lol...

His feet are real dry and scaley looking and sometimes if he bends his foot wrong is just cracks right open espeacially between his toes he uses fungus cream on them but I don't think its that. How do you know when its dryness or something worse and what should we use on it? It's really painful for him =(

  • water bath, then lotion to soften up the skin... maybe a pumice stone to remove some... then keep athletes foot cream on when he's up and about.

  • Vaeline and plastic bags on his feet to keep the moisture in and prevent the skin from drying.

  • Sounds like athletes foot
sometimes the fungus gets into the bloodstream and antifungal meds by mouth are needed

  • Ooh that sounds painful, he could use vaseline or lotion for diabetics, diabetes makes your skin very dry so they have special lotions to hydrate the skin , does he have athletes foot ? It sounds like it

  • He might want to see a Podiatrist (foot doctor).Especially since he is having so many problems with them.
