How often to bathe kids?

My son is two. I give him a bath once a week, sometimes twice. He doesn't go outside daily maybe 3 or 4 days out of 7 at it bad to only bathe him this much? I do wipe his feet/hands/face/butt of course daily or with every diaper change.

  • I think a 2 year old should be getting a bath more than just once a week..... My 2 year old gets one everyday and even though I don't think that's always necessary I do think once a week is a bit too long. Even if he isn't outside he does sweat. I'd say every other day is normal.

  • We bathe every other day. No matter what. DS has sensitive skin and we live in a cold climate so more than every other day causes him to get a rash...
