  • The last couple of weeks! SO frustrating because I thought I was in the clear because I went almost 9 months....then they showed up one day. Ah well, the kids are worth it.

  • I got them before my first appointment at 10 weeks. I actually lost about ten pounds and my pants were looser but still got the stretchmarks. When I talked to my doctor about it, he said that some women get them from the change hormones, not actually stretching of the skin. Oh...lucky me :p

I used all of the creams and lotions too, but it didn't matter. I got them anyway.

  • The first ones showed up just before 7 months. They were on my hips at first, then as my belly grew I got more in the front, but not too many. I tried coacoa butter, but I got a terrible itchy rash from it that spread anywhere I touched the butter. No more coacoa butter for me... also that means less chocolate. Boo!

  • I've just recently been told that the best time to put lotion on is right when you get out fo the bath, while your skin is still wet. my son has excema real bad, and this is what I was told.

But with stretchmarks, I have been told that it depends on your skin type, like if your mother got them, then you prolly will, and vice versa. Now whether there is truth to the whole in your genes thing, I dunno.
