Ideas for twin girls?

We have several choices but it's very difficult to find the perfect pair so I was wondering what others would use? Middle names are Lucille and Abigail after our mothers (we already have two sons named Victor James & Lucas Paul w/the midde names being after our dads James & Paul and since we are having twin girls we want to honor our moms like we did our dads so they aren't names we wouldn't use, they are set in stone choices).

We have the names:
Daphne
Olivia (to go with Viola or Violet)
Olive (to go with Viola or Violet)
Penelope
Genivieve
Delilia
Viola (to go with Olivia or Olive)
Violet (to go with Olivia or Olive)
Velma (yes, really...my husband thinks Daphne and Velma would be a cute pair and yes, after the characters in Scooby Doo)
&
Stella

on our list of names.

  • Congrats on your twins! I'm expecting twins in October. I like Delilia. I've only see it spelled Delilah. But Delilia and Stella would be a cute sibling pair I think. I'm all for twins not having matchy names. Olivia and Stella are cute together too.

  • I kinda dig Delila and Stella. I like the fact they names that can be really cute for babies but also mature with them as they grow. A friend of mine had twin girls and named them Abigail and Adonniah (Add-uh-nye-uh). Her oldest daughter is named Anhalissa which I thought was really cool too! :) Congrats on your twins, I bet you are so excited!

  • With those middle names I would lean toward simple names. Maybe Jane and Anne? But I also see if the name flows when you say the full name(first, middle, last). Of the names on your list, Olivia and Violet sound the best to me.

  • I like Daphne and Penelope because the both have that 'e' at the end
    or
Daphne and Violet because I think of Daffodils and Violets.
