I think my place of work may be sending me fliers for their church!

So I'm almost positive. When I first started, he asked me to give him my address. OK fine. I actually pay rent there. So a week later, I was getting info pamflets for a church. I thought it was weird, seeing as we never got those before, and we've been here 4 years. I asked my neighbors if they got them too and they said no.

I remember when I started he was always talking about church. Everyone there goes to the same church. So I asked one of the girls where their church is and turns out the pamphlets were indeed their church...I'm a little taken aback, and weirded out.
I'm not sure how I'm feeling about it. Thoughts?

  • I agree, I would start sending them back.

  • Businesses sell addresses all the time. Email addresses are sold. Money makers right there.

  • Write "RETURN TO SENDER." On each of them and mail them back until they get the idea.

  • Write "REFUSED, RETURN TO SENDER" on them and put them back into the mail.

  • So it's acceptable for my place of work to sell my address to a church??? I'm positive it's them. It was literally a week later.

  • I would just throw away the mail. Its not right that they gave out your address but its not really harming anyone. You could always call the church and tell them you want to be removed from the mailing list as you are not a member and dont desire to be one.
