  • My doctor said one cup a day was fine.

  • My doc gave me permission for two cups of coffee per day. Keep in mind, to a physician "a cup of coffee" equals 6 oz.

  • Not all doctors will say the same thing. I was told I could have 2 cups of coffee a day and it wouldn't hurt baby.

  • I drink one cup a day in the morning, I buy 1/2 caffeine coffee.

Answer by ILovemyPaulie at 10:16 AM on Apr. 6, 2011

  • Of course. A cup a day is fine as far as caffeine levels are concerned. You could always do 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf. I had an occasional caffeinated soda during my pregnancy.
