What is a good sweet wine or champagne to go with a steak, red potatoes...

I'm planning a dinner for me and my baby!!! (hubby not baby baby)

  • Beringer white zinfandel. Typically you would serve a red wine with beef, white with fish or chicken and sweet for desserts. But serve what you like. We like Black Swan Shiraz with steaks.

  • Normally, a dry red wine would be consider better with a steak, but if you like sweet and you like Champagne, Try Asti Spumonti. It's Italian, a sweeter, sparkling wine, similar to Champagne. I think it would be perfect.

  • I know this is a late post, but a Red Zinfandel would go great with it or a Cabernet is always great and classic too. You may even want to try a Bonarda too. Enjoy!
