  • I usually try and plan out the week before it ever gets here. I have two spring breaks this year. One child has it off next week, and 2 of them have it off the week after easter. I have movie days planned, dinner out planned, gardening things to do with them, movie rentals lined up, little league practices, we also have a school carnival we will all help with and things like that.

  • I dont that isnt my job.

I do allow each child to choose an activity. I also am fine with kids coming over. But I dont wake up every day and think how can I entertain my kids today. They are kids... they are creative... let them figure it out.

  • omg this spring break has sucked the weather is cold and rainy so we cant go outside. We dont get paid till Friday so we dont have money to do anything and i was feeling bad. But then again as a kid we never really did or go anywhere for spring break just having off school is enough. I told my stepdaughter to make a sleepover date with a friend but she waited till 8:00pm to call her and she had plans already wtf who waits till 8 to invite someone over when i was saying it all day. She goes to her moms tomorrow. But theyve been watching movies alot. We are all going out to dinner sunday thats one thing she wanted to do.

  • I don't entertain my kids. It's their job to entertain themselves. So far this spring break we had a birthday party for my youngest dd on Saturday. Then we went to the zoo yesterday for her actual birthday. Last night I broke out the DSs and they are playing video games today. Most of their friends went on vacation so they're kind of bored that's why I got out the video games. But otherwise I don't plan their activities or entertain them. They have the TV, video games, board games, coloring, puzzles, toys, books to read and they can play outside when it's not raining. What they do is up to them.
