  • I would prefer tampon, but after having my second daughter, most brands literally make me sick. I get dizzy, nauseous, weak, and have sharp pains in my lower abdomen. If I can't find the ONE brand I can use, I have to resort to pads :/

  • I have to use both. My period is super super bad. Every time. (yes, been to a dr...had a d & helped for 2 cycles!) I HATE using both but I have no choice.

  • Pads. Tampons don't absorb enough plus having that stuff sitting there, even for a short amount of time, can't be good for you.

  • tampons! I always feel like I can smell my pad, no matter how often I change it.

  • Tampons can cause toxic shock syndrome - possibly with the exception of OBs which spread sideways instead of lengthways AND sideways. While they seem more convenient, there can be serious consequences. I used them for years, only to experience a serious adverse experience when my granddaughter was about 14 months old. It caused sudden bloating, adominal pain and nausea that would not cease until I removed the tampon. Fortunately, I was in a location where I could do that within minutes, but I wouldn't want to experience it a second time or chance the consequences if I were where I could NOT remove it immediately.
