  • Scam is what I think. Saw it first hand in Chicago people begging and it turned out they lived in a high rise Apartment and lived better than I did from begging alone. Always look at the details of beggars. If the person is wearing $200 gym shoes it's not someone in need

  • Sadly,I wonder why they aren't looking for work. No one likes being underpaid but I for one would rather do day labor or work fast food than hold a sign. Then I wonder what else is going on that might prevent them from doing so,then the light turns green.

  • depends on what they look like. Different thoughts come to mind based on how they are dressed, how they are behaving, how clean they are, etc.

  • In my town,a woman who's faking having fibromyalgia so she doesn't have to work. She'd rather stand on a street corner all day holding a sign and live in a hotel. All our charities have tried to help her. She turned them down.
