  • There's nothing wrong with getting creative about how to finance education. We can't count on government to fund it. States are cutting the arts in schools left and right yet our kids aren't getting any smarter. Advertise away. You have my blessing.

  • I don't see a problem with it... If it generates revenue...When we lived in Hampton, VA the middle school and high school students rode the city bus to school as a way to keep the budget low.... Plenty of advertising there...

  • Not at all. If it generates some revenue for the school I am all for it.

  • Ohh and Public School Sport stadiums/Gyms/etc rely on advertising to generate revenue for sports programs... This isn't any different...

  • I'd rather see ads then teachers laid off.

  • Nope. As long as the revenue generated when directly to the school system to be used for THE STUDENTS.

  • As long as it wasnt alcohol or tabacco and you could still see most of the yellow on the bus. A few advertisements wouldnt hurt imo.

  • I agree with ria. If it will help bring in a little money to the schools that they desperately need, I don't see the problem.

  • No problem as long as the ad was appropriate for school aged children.

  • So at long as the advertisements were appropriate for school aged children to be viewing, I actually think it would be a great idea. It would generate revenue for the schools - and we all know the schools could use some money!
