  • since we get so many dirty dishes, and it takes quite a longer to hand wash them, in my house I'd have to say necessity!

  • I used to consider it a luxury because I never had one growing up. But every apartment and rental home I've had has always included one so I'm used to it and won't be too happy without it.

  • luxury. It isn't necessary and you actually save on water and electricity if you hand wash.

  • washing dishesI don't see a need for one unless you run a restaurant. For me, it's purely luxury.
