OK lady's I had a baby in Jan waited for the periods to be over to have intercourse and still haven't had a period since then has this happened to anyone here? because now I am getting worried

  • Don't worry too much. I didn't get my periods back on a regular basis for almost a year after I had my first, 4 or 5 months after I had my second, and who knows what will happen this time. Unless you are thinking you might be pregnant already, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Sounds normal. Especially since you are nursing.

  • if you are breast feeding it will take a while, if not.. I would talk to my doctor to see if i could go on the pill to force a period to come.

  • ya i am breastfeeding but i had 2 other children and breastfeed them and had my period thats whats freaking me out

  • I had my first period about 5 months after DS was born. I think my mom went longer. I know people who don't get their period at all until they stop BFing.

  • I had my son April 22nd 2010 and still have NOT gotten a period yet, but i am breasfeeding.

  • It takes about three months for everything to get back to normal. My Ob says if you get a period before your baby is three months go in and get checked. If you're breastfeeding then yeah it may take a little longer. no need to worry just yet, but if you really really are then take a test.
